Ingram Micro Celebrates Opening of New Downtown Buffalo Office

Accelerating collaboration and inspiring innovation, the new facility reflects Ingram Micro’s commitment to Buffalo’s downtown revitalization and community partnership

Buffalo, New York – April 21, 2026 – Ingram Micro, one of Western New York’s largest employers, officially opened its new downtown Buffalo with a Grand Opening and Associate Welcome event earlier this month. Featuring remarks from Ingram Micro executives and the Mayor of the City of Buffalo, Sean Ryan, as well as a ribbon-cutting ceremony, the event marked a major milestone in the company’s 40-year presence in Buffalo.

Located at 257 West Genesee Street—just steps from City Hall and the Lake Erie waterfront—the new 160,000-square-foot office is LEED Silver-certified and blends Buffalo’s history with a forward-looking, modern, sustainable environment.

Designed as an ultra-modern workspace with the latest amenities, Ingram Micro’s downtown Buffalo location hosts approximately 1,200 associates as well as a new, state-of-the-art Solutions Center. Additionally, Ingram Micro noted it will welcome hundreds of customers and partners to its new office each year, giving these visitors the opportunity to experience Buffalo’s energy, momentum, and unique events and attractions.

“As our business has evolved, so has the way we work,” said Bill Brandel, EVP and President North America, Ingram Micro. “We intentionally designed this space to support connection, creativity, and speed. It enables our associates to come together in new ways to best serve our customers and partners.”

Brandel continued, “We are incredibly excited to be back in Buffalo and to be part of the city’s continued growth and revitalization. We’d like to thank Mayor Ryan and all of Buffalo for your partnership and your warm welcome. We are proud to be here and thrilled to be your neighbors.”

“I’m proud to welcome Ingram Micro to downtown Buffalo and to see the former Highmark building back in use,” Mayor Sean Ryan said. “Bringing more employees downtown is one important piece of our plan to make downtown Buffalo a 24/7destination. It means more foot traffic, more customers for local businesses, and another step toward building a downtown that’s active, vibrant, and open for business.”

Celebrating its forty-seventh year in business, Ingram Micro has grown into a global B2B technology platform company with more than 22,000 associates worldwide. With over 165,000 customers and approximately 1,500 vendor partners, Ingram Micro is a Fortune 100 entity that operates in 57 countries and has the ability to serve nearly 90% of the global population.
