Ingram Micro Signs New Cloud Services Agreement With Rackspace(R) Hosting

DALLAS, June 7 /PRNewswire/ -- INGRAM MICRO CLOUD SUMMIT – Accelerating the adoption of cloud computing within the IT channel, Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM) is pleased to announce a new distribution relationship with Rackspace Hosting, a worldwide leader in the hosting and cloud computing industry.  The news was unveiled today at Ingram Micro's inaugural Cloud Summit in Dallas, Texas.

Under the terms of the agreement, the Ingram Micro Services Division is now offering Rackspace's managed and cloud hosting solutions as part of its Seismic managed services portfolio to the distributor's more than 1,600 Seismic partners throughout North America, as well as its general solution provider base. To generate greater awareness among Ingram Micro's channel partner base, the new Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) solutions are being showcased this week at the distributor's first Cloud Summit and 4th annual Seismic Partner Conference in Dallas, Texas June 7-9.
