Ingram Micro Wins Cisco Distributor and Partner Summit Awards

SANTA ANA, Calif., June 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Ingram Micro Inc., the world's largest technology distributor, today announced that it has earned several distribution awards from Cisco including top recognition in both Asia-Pacific and Canada. The awards were presented to Ingram Micro's president and chief operating officer, Alain Monie last month at Cisco events in Honolulu.

Award winners at the distribution meeting were selected from a list of more than 150 Cisco distributors worldwide for outstanding performance in 2007. Winners were nominated by their Cisco theater sales teams. Selections were based on an ability to deliver incremental business, maximize profitability throughout the supply chain and align with key Cisco strategies. The honorees were selected from the three segments of Cisco distribution partners: global, regional and specialty. Cisco Partner Summit awards were presented at three levels -- regional, theater and global.
